Antiphons is a sad rock band from Richmond, VA.

Falsetto and slide guitar vie for your attention while 1-upping the others sadness like myspace mall goths in 2005 posting survey bulletins on their parents computer. Drums that pound as steady and unrepentant as your aching heart. Synths distant yet beautiful like the girl you loved when you were 13-16 that moved away and ended up married and happy and graduating with her doctorates and actually getting a job with it while you eat cheetos in your underwear in your apartment that has no AC and your shit landlord ignores your calls. Bass that is more than likely drunk.
